Our first day was spent at Hollywood Studios (formerly
Disney-MGM). We picked this park because of Star Wars Weekends. We got there early and waited at a rope fence. When the park opened, everyone started to run like crazy. We didn't know what to expect, but the first Star Wars character we ran across was Chewbacca. We got his autograph. When we met Bobba Fett we had to convince him that he should give us his autograph. When Grandma touched him, he swiped his hand across his body like he was getting the germs off. Darth Vader made heavy breathing sounds. Mace Windu, Kit Fitso and Shaak Ti. When mom met Shaak Ti she asked her how do you do your nails, embarrasing all us boys. Queen Amidala We saw the Star Wars Celebrity Motorcade A Tusken Raider came up to mom and scared her with a roar. In the parade was Amy Allen, who played Aayla Secura Also in the parade was Warwick Davis, who played Wicket the Ewok We stood in line for Darth Maul, but when it started to rain everyone ran to Wicket's Warehouse and we got stuck in a long line and everyone around us was mad that Disney didn't handle it better. We got to see Darth Maul. He acted mean and faked chocking us. We also saw Jango Fett Another new character we met was Prince Caspian from the second Narnia movie Mike and Sulley got moved to a new location, it is all Monster Inc'ish, green and purple. Dad yelled at a lady who jumped in line in front of him. We also met Disney characters dressed llike Star Wars Jedi Mickey Darth Goofy and Stormtrooper Donald. We liked how Darth Goofy's underwear were showing. Minnie Leia Once again we went to Lights! Motor! Action! Stunt Show A brand new show that opened just before we got to Florida is Toy Story Mania. We were able to get Fast Passes and it was fun. You ride in cars with 3-D glasses. You shot shot these cannons by pulling a string. Shot at targets, pop balloons, throw rings at Little Green Men, and knock over cows. Before we left, we met Ahsoka Tano. She is in the new animated Clone Wars movie. This was a long first day at the parks. The Star Wars Weekend cool and way better than we expected. |
